Internet Explorer Download

Requirements:

• Microsoft Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP,
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or later,
• JavaScript Support,
• System or administrator rights to install software.

Please remember that by installing the software you have agreed to our user agreement .

Click the following download link to download the toolbar software.

Download Toolbar Now

You will be given a choice to run, save or cancel. Choose "Run".

You maybe warned that the software publisher is not recognised. Again choose "Run".

The installation program will then start. You will need to check and accept the conditions, then select "next". You will then be provided with a dialogue to decide where to install the software, we suggest you leave this untouched and go with the default location. Then click the "install" button, after the installation is complete select "Close".

Please note that after selecting "close" a new Internet Explorer window will open. We suggest that you then close all Internet Explorer windows (so not to confuse you or the system) and then open one new Internet Explorer window.

Hopefully you should now see the JISC TechDis User Preferences Toolbar. If you can not see the toolbar you will need to go to the Internet Explorer menu: View > Toolbars. Then ensure that the toolbars are not locked and make sure that the TechDis toolbar is selected (ticked).
