Assistive Technology Scheme

In 2005 JISC TechDis distributed Assistive Technology Scheme to all UK JISC Regional Support Centres for use with the post 16 communities they support. The Scheme - funded through JISC Organisational Support - contained over 40 pieces of technology (including hardware, software and low technology items) designed to be trialled and displayed around the sectors to increase knowledge of assistive technology and its uses with disabled staff and students.

In order to support the distribution of the Scheme JISC TechDis have produced a number of supporting documents and guides as to the pedagogical uses of these technologies. In the scheme there was a series of how to documents created - guides/how tos
