Estate Management for post-16 learning providers regarding the needs of disabled learners

All schools, FE (Further Education), HE (Higher Education), Sixth Form colleges, specialist residential colleges for learners with learning difficulties/disabilities and LEA-ACL (Local Education Authority - Adult Community Learning) providers, together with the statutory youth service, are all within the remit of the Disability Discrimination Act part 4 whilst WBL (Work Based Learning) providers and college residential accommodation are governed by part 3 of the legislation.

This section provides sources of information regarding the needs of learners and potential learners with disability, appropriate to the needs of those responsible for estate management issues for post-16 learning and skills providers. In general, sources of information produced for schools, FE, HE, WBL and ACL address very similar issues.
