An easy way of enlarging the text in Microsoft
® Internet Explorer would be to download the
JISC TechDis toolbar
which, once downloaded, is available as an on-screen toolbar (similar to the way the Google Toolbar is available) and allows the user to zoom into or out of any webpage. Alternatively, if you are unable to download programmes onto your computer, you can adapt the text size yourself using the following steps.
Enlarging the Text (Option 1)
Enlarging the Text (Option 2)
If option 1 doesn't work then follow the steps below:
From the menu select
Tools
>
Internet Options
and under the General tab click
Accessibility
button at the bottom right of the dialogue box (see Figure 2).
Tick the check box
'Ignore font sizes specified on web pages'
and click OK (see Figure 3).
Clicking OK will close the dialogue box and return you to the General tab of the Internet Options box, Click
OK
again to exit.
From the menu select
View
>
Text Size
and increase or decrease the text size as necessary (see Figure 1).
