BT Podcasting

A simple way of creating mp3 sound file - no matter where you are - is to call home and to let the BT 1571 service pick up the call. By leaving a message on the 1571 service, you can access the sound file by logging in to your BT account online and downloading the file. Go to bt.com and search for 1571, then log in to access your voicemail message. When downloading the files, you have to add .mp3 to the filename.

This makes it easy for tutors or earners to create mp3 files that can be played back on any mp3 player, uploaded to a blog or exchanged with classmates. Learners could record discussions with peers or interviews with people in this way.
